A Spam Filter That Works!

I have been using SpamArrest for over 2 years now and it must of saved me hours if not days sorting through unwanted emails. Its patented challenge/response technology blocks 100% of automated spam. Unlike other spam filters that work on keywords and can block emails you do want and let through some you don’t.

SpamArrest has blocked over 134,000 spam emails for me over 2 years which is 87% of emails sent to me, that’s near 5,000 spams in the last 30 days.  Take a look at the Widget at the bottom of the left hand margin for a live update on my spam stats.  Why not click on the widget and take SpamArrest for a free test drive?

Web Site Anti-Spam

Being a web site owner you are probably inundated with spam.  I tried all sorts of spam filters and finally decided to use SpamArrest, Which is a challenge/response system which works on the white list principle.  I only receive email now from people on my white list.  If some one sends me an email and they are not on my list, SpamArrest automatically sends them an email back to validate their email address. So no more emails from spammers.

I also wanted to protect my web forms and also my blog comments so I now use CAPTCHA, those little images of letters or numbers you need to type in to validate the form.  This shows you are human and at the moment those annoying spam robots can not read the images.  Leave a comment on this post to try it out. The CAPTCHA for WordPress blogs is a free plug and if you want to use a similar system for your web forms just Google free php CAPTCHA and you wil find plenty of help.
